Philosophy of Education
I don't know what my philosophy of education is.  I know my time at NAU is ending, but I still haven't found a concrete "definition" of the purpose of education.  Every year my teachers preach and try to sway us to believe their philosophy is the best, but I haven't found one that I could use as a foundation for my Philosophy.  As of now, if I had to pick, I would say "School should be used to help students become successful in whatever they want to do later in life".  With that in mind, I think our school system should focus on enhancing each students strengths, instead on making students score high on tests.

My Experience with Technology
I am not good with technology - I can't even work the new smart TV my parents bought 7 months ago.  Thankfully, I have brothers who love technology so they always help me whenever I have a problem (when I move to Korea, I'll have to find someone else to save me).  When I use the computer, I write papers, make Power Points, complete other school work, or watch Netflix.  I have an iPhone and iPod, but that's about it.  I prefer doing things without technology for the most part.

Technology Integration
I think technology integration means mixing technology into the standard curriculum.  For example, if I were to assign a project based on marine life, I would give my students the opportunity to research on iPads, computers, etc. as they are completing the project.  Another way to integrate technology into the curriculum is through the use of plickers, clickers, or various online polling programs.  For example, instead of giving my students a written quiz, I would create a Power Point filled with quiz questions and have then choose their correct answer with one of the online polling programs.

Technology in my Classroom
After college, I want to go to South Korea and teach English.  Because of this, I won't have an actual classroom; I will be going school to school teaching a variety of students from third grade to high school.  With that in mind, the technology that my students will use depends on which items the school has available for their students.  Ideally, the schools will have a variety of computer-like objects that my students can use everyday.  If I could choose one type of program for the students, I would choose FastForward because it helps students become fluent in English.
